About The Blue Recipe Tin
There’s an old blue tin that has been part of my family’s kitchen for longer than anyone can remember. Inside are handwritten recipes from generations of Southern women who showed love by baking for the people around them. I’m Lara, and this blog is my way of preserving a piece of my family’s history.
Growing up in the Deep South, I discovered early on that baking is a way to connect, share, and create memories. The smell of something baking immediately makes me think of holidays at home, church potlucks, and loved ones gathering in the kitchen. These moments are woven into who I am, and I feel honored to carry them forward.
